Your JonatanMars Account Deletion Process

At JonatanMars, we respect your control over your personal data and provide a way for you to request the deletion of your user account at any time.

Due to security reasons and our obligations as a regulated financial services provider, every deletion request must be manually processed and verified. This ensures that no unauthorized person can request the deletion of your account.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

To begin the account deletion process, please follow these steps:

1. Prepare an Email

You must send your request from the email address associated with your JonatanMars account. This is a mandatory security measure to verify your identity.

2. Send the email to:

  • To: support@equito.co
  • Subject: Request for User Account Deletion

3. Include in the body of the email:

Please include the following information in your message so we can quickly and securely confirm your identity:

  • Your full legal name.
  • The phone number associated with your account.
  • A brief confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent and you will lose access to the platform and all data within the app.

What Happens Next

  1. Receipt Confirmation: You will receive an automated reply confirming we have received your request.
  2. Verification: Our team will verify your identity. We may contact you via your registered email or phone number for an additional confirmation step.
  3. Execution: Once your identity is confirmed, we will deactivate your account and begin the process of securely deleting your data. We will notify you upon completion.

Important Notice on Data Retention (Regulatory Compliance)

Please note that JonatanMars is a brand of Equito d.o.o., which as a MiFID II licensed investment firm is legally obligated to retain certain data.

  • What We Delete: Your account will be deactivated, and you will no longer be able to access the app. We will delete all data not required for regulatory compliance (e.g., app settings, marketing preferences).
  • What We Must Retain: In accordance with regulations (including MiFID II and anti-money laundering laws), we are required to keep certain customer, transaction, and communication records for a legally mandated period (typically 5-10 years) after the termination of the business relationship.

This data is securely archived with strictly limited access and will be permanently deleted automatically once the mandatory retention period expires.
